After working as a journalist in the most important Mexican nineteenth-century newspapers, Agustín Víctor Casasola (1874-1938) became a photographer. During 1913 and 1914, he took photos of events related to the Mexican Revolution. To some, he produced the most important visual testimonies of the revolutionary period.
